Cherry (aka Trip) was one of the first rescue dogs that came to us at SOS. He had a severe infection on one of his legs and required amputation surgery.
He was fostered for 3 months because it was difficult to find a loving owner who wanted a 3-legged dog.
Finally, a wonderful woman came along and fell in love with Cherry. She adopted him and filed all of the paperwork to bring him home to Canada, where he is enjoying his winter days playing in the snow!
Poor little Luna was found in a barrio living in dirt & feces surrounded by ducks and chickens. She had a terrible skin disease that covered the majority of her body and would not let anyone come near her.

Day by day we slowly gained her trust and eventually, we were able to remove her from her abusive home. She received medical attention and lots of love as she recovered.

Luna now has a new loving mom, and she enjoys accompanying her on bicycle rides around town!
