VOLUNTEER

We would not be where we are without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers!

Local volunteers help us with animal care, transportation, fundraising, running events, and fostering.

We also have a team of remote volunteers who serve the roles of Adoption Coordinator, Foster Coordinator, and help make sure all of the animals in our care are on track with having their needs met.

If you dream of helping animals and saving lives, you've come to the right place!

Guidelines for Volunteers

The areas local volunteers provide help in are:
- Animal care for the animals temporarily living on site at SOS Animales (shared space with Seaside Clinica Veterinaria)

- Helping at fundraising events

- Providing transportation for animals to and from veterinary appointments

Local volunteers helping with animal care must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 hours a week for 3 weeks.

Remote volunteers can also HUGELY benefit our organization. Let us know if you have special skills that you can use from afar to aid animals! Examples of remote volunteer work include:

- Searching for and writing grants

- Financial advisement
